First Language Spaces Acceptable Use Policy
Use the space below to contribute to a student-friendly explanation of what is and is not permissible within a shared space. The Document Library contains an example from Rush Common School, Abingdon.
"I can use the language name Merlin space for discussing and sharing ideas about:
- life in the UK;
- going to a British school;
- school work;
- my interests, hobbies, likes and dislikes;
- my home country;
- the future.
I will not use the space for:
- discussing and comparing other named individuals (including family members, teachers, students and other users);
- sharing personal details without the permission of my parent or guardian (including addresses, phone numbers and email addresses);
- arranging to meet other users;
Additionally, I will not:
- download viruses or do anything else that will damage the space or other users' computers;
- place bad, insulting or abusive words in any language, inappropriate pictures or any other inappropriate material on the site.
