Parks and Walcot East Children’s Centre

Swindon has fourteen Children Centre’s, all offering health and education services for parents, carers and their children aged from birth to their fifth birthday. 

Parks and Walcot East Children’s Centre is integrated within Goddard Park Community Primary School.  Services are offered from other locations to ensure local families can access provisions on offer.  Mountford Manor Primary, Oaktree Primary and St Johns Church all home some of our services.

The Children’s Centre can:

• Support all families, including information and advice on parenting and child development
• Free early education sessions and affordable full or part time daycare available from the Centre
• Help for families who have a child with special needs or a disability
• Child and family health services including antenatal and postnatal care, speech and language therapy and counselling
• Help with employment and training for parents through links with Job Centre Plus and colleges
