Litter Picking 23rd April 2010
A huge success!
The Eco Warriors each chose a friend from their class to help them do some litter picking around the school grounds. The children were very enthusiastic and, with the help of many parents, very thorough with their collecting. As a group, we collected litter from the shrubs in front of the school, the voyager walkway, the wildlife area, the field and the playground. We were surprised at the amount of litter in the school and we feel that we have done a really good job!
This could not have been done without the support of parents so I would like to say a massive thank you to Mrs Pass, Mrs Titcombe, Mrs Dixon, Mrs Wheeler, Mrs Willis, Mr Brain, Mr Hudson, Mrs Tewkesbury, Mrs Hatfield and Mrs Doyle.
