Admissions 2012/2013
In accordance with Swindon Borough Council’s admissions policy a place will be offered from the beginning of the school year in which your child is 5 years old. All children are permitted to start school full time in the September.
We will have two Foundation Stage 2 (reception) classes in September 2013. Many families attended our open sessions and visited the school before the application deadline in January.
A full induction programme is implemented for families of new reception children. We are very proud of our work and OFSTED have judged Catherine Wayte, including our Foundation Stage, to be an outstanding school.
There is no legal obligation for your child to attend school until the term after their fifth birthday so parents have a right to decide when your child will start school. If you need help or advice when making your decision or would like to arrange a visit please do not hesitate to contact us.
