GCSE Examination Results

We are delighted to report that this year’s GCSE results are outstanding, concluding another highly successful year for the College who received notification on the last day of term that the college has been rated outstanding by OfSTED for the fourth time.

The students have surpassed their externally set challenging targets achieving 84% 5A*-C (77% including English and Maths) with over 30% of these grades at A*/A and 98% of all students achieving 5A*-G grades.

St Augustine’s extends its congratulations to all its Year 11 students whose positive contribution over the five years has enriched the school community leaving a lasting legacy and setting high standards for future cohorts to aspire to. We are particularly proud of these results as they reflect young people achieving their personal bests with many surpassing targets set.

The results are a product of a community working tirelessly together, a community of students, parents, teachers and associate staff whose support and relentless pursuit of excellence have produced such richly deserved results.

Advanced Level Examination Results

I am delighted to report that the Advanced level examination results remain excellent with 12% of grades at the new A* standard, 66% of grades at A*-B grades and 88% at A*-C grades. This year 18 students, our highest number to date, achieved straight grade A*/A in all their subjects. The students and staff should be justly proud of these wonderful set of results and I can only express my gratitude for the endless hard work and dedication that the students and staff have put into the courses over the past two years and the support that the students have received from home during this time. I wish every student success for their immediate future as they continue their education at an institute of Higher education, commence employment or begin their gap year.
