Here in the Chemistry Department our main priority is to get students to appreciate the value of their education and understand the relevance of what they are learning. We encourage an inquiring mind and aim to offer varied and stimulating learning experiences – making things go bang is obviously particularly important, but we also endeavour to incorporate ICT, work-related learning and citizenship, providing students with opportunities to develop their personal skills and social skills.
We want this webpage to be of value to both parents & students – providing information, learning tools, resource, and perhaps even offering some entertainment!!
