Exciting Sculpture Workshop

This Saturday the artist Edwina Bridgeman is coming to run a workshop with 20 students. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a practising artist and to develop skills in building and designing a group piece.

Magritte

i think that this picture makes it look like there is another hole in the window where the canvas is. i like this picture because it is a different style and is more creative than than other styles.

Magrette

I think that this picture is interesting because merges from what is outside to inside. I like the different colours and also how he is a unique artist and does interesting art

René Magritte

I like this piece of art work by Magritte as it really makes you think about what is actually happening in this picture. In this piece of work we can see an easel with what sees to be a beach seen painted on it. We cannot be sure what is actually happening in this picture though because there might not be an easel there, we may be seeing through the wall at the beach scene continuing on from the doorway. It just really makes you think waht is really happening in this picture, everyone would have their own idea of what is actually happening in the painting, its very intriguing...

I think this piece of work is very interesting. You cant tell if it is the window or a painting on a canvas, its is very clever. I think piece of work because it is different to other artists and really expressed the kind of work magritte did.

Margritte

I think this piece of work really makes you think about if there is or is not a canvas there. It draws your attention and makes you look really closely at the picture. Its extreamly clever how it continuously makes you think about it.
