The drive and direction provided by the headteacher have been at the heart of the school's improvements. She is well supported by other key leaders who are all effectively involved in the monitoring and development of their areas of responsibility. The school demonstrates a good capacity to improve. Self-evaluation is accurate and systematic. The findings are used well to inform planning and action to bring about improvements where needed. Since the last inspection, the Early Years Foundation Stage, pupil progress, teaching and subject leadership have all improved from satisfactory to good.
