Today we went to Portsmouth harbour to see some of the Mary Rose artifacs divers found where the Mary Rose sank. It took two hours to get to Portsmouth harbour. When we got we firstly went upstairs for some 'History Mistory' work we had to work out what some of the things found on the Mary Rose were. Secondly we had two Class' about the Mary Rose. The first was to look at some of the artifacts and work out what they were. The other was a class about the firing a Cannon. Then we had lunch. When lunch was over we had a walk around the museum, cool! Lastly we went on HMS Victory, it is huge!
Then we went home, another two hour journey!

Tudor Day!

Tudor day!

Today we went to Shelbourne for a Tudor day.
First we were told all about the Battle of Bosworth between the Red rose (Lancaster- Henry VII) and the White rose (Richard III). Then we played some Tudor Peasant games. After that we had play time. When play was over we were taught about Henry's wives and his family. Then we had lunch, we got to taste some Tudor foods! Finaly we got to act out some of Henry's big milestones in his life, most of them were a bit gruesome! Tomorrow we are going to Portsmouth Harbour to see some of the Mary Rose's artifact's and hopefully hold some!

Going to see David Webb!

Going to see David Webb!

Today we went to Easton Royal school to see an author. His name was David Webb. He taught year 5 and 6 from Shelbourne, Easton Royal and St. Katharine's how to write a play script. Our theme was WW2 evacuees. Mr Webb chose 1 play script to act out in font of year 3, 4, 5 and 6. David read out parts of lots of his different stories to us and we got to ask him lots of questions about writing stories. Tomorrow we're going to Shelbourne for a Tudor day, what an exciting week!

what a week!

Tomorrow we are going to easton royal and we are going to see a author. On wenesday we are going to shalbourne school and having a tudor day and dressing up as tudor pesants. On thursday we are going to look at mary rose artifacts and hopefuly holding them.

Good day

Today we did spellings and instead of Ms Jones doing spellings with us, Mrs Cross did them with us instead. After spellings, Mrs Cross went through a power-point about
the questions that we got wrong and that was the day.

Finely Friday

Today we did 3 tests in the morning.2 maths tests and 1 reading test.In the afternoon we did guded reading,history and finally GOLDEN TIME. Have a great weekend everyone - new bloggers next week!

Intresting day

Today we did a mental maths test and after that we did some numeracy. After numeracy we did some literacy and then we had lunch, and after that we had a story and then history and then at the end of the day we all went home.

Celebration assembly.

Today at celebration assembely,

Loads of people got thier pen license(about 10!), Even more people got leaves about 15!. After that the star workers were annonced

And we did learning points the highest was Thomas.L-38points. Then Mrs Cross lit the candle and the assembly crew(Ruby and Bethany) said the prere.

What has gone on today.

Today:

First of all everybody had a maths test to do and after that we had P.E with are P.E teacher then we had breake(10.30am-10.45am). After that we had a Numeracy lesson (11.00am-12.00 nooon)Then we had lunch.(12.00-12.30) some of us have dodgeball lessons. Next we had music with Mr Turner (He`s cool) and finally we had literacy. Then we went home.

What we have been doing this morning.

First we all came in to do are morning task whitch was to copy and complete The Magic Box by Kit Wright.
Then we had a maths lesson whitch was to work the Area and Perimeter of Compound shapes.Then we had a literacy lesson on writing a persuasive paragraph about having playtime. And then we had lunch.
