International Schools

		Welcome to the International School section of our Merlin Site. We have recently joined a two year project with schools in England, Sweden, France and Germany. This project is called R.A.C.E. It focuses on raising attainment of children in our contrasting environments accross Europe. This project is funded by the EU via the British Council and is called the Comenius Project. Our children will complete three learning projects; communicating, learning and sharing resources via letter, email and twin spaces on the internet. We hope this project will inspire learning across the curriculum and help us develop our modern foreign languages too.
		Latest News We would like to tell you about an exciting new project we have just begun. Over the next two years we will be joining with four schools, a German school, a French one, a Swedish one and an English one. We have sent them an Advent calendar, Christmas cards and a picture of us. They have sent questionnaires about our country and we have emailed our replies. Now we are now learning some French, German and Swedish words. We are looking forward to lots of exciting links with our partner schools over the next two years. By Year 3
