Revelation Natural Art

This program is suitable for students of all abilities and ages because of the way in which the features can be customised. It is almost limitless in its possibilities for educational use, starting as a simple graphics tool to illustrate stories or create individual pictures. However, it can be taken much further and used to create illustrated sequences such as storyboards or animations, or to illustrate projects, write notes or draw mindmaps.

2InvestigateUse SHIFT+ENTER to open the menu (new window).
2Investigate

The 2Investigate title is essentially a content-free tool although some example databases are included. The examples provided (Minibeasts, Our Class, Shoes and Hobbies) illustrate how the program can be used in database creation rather than for independent research into the topics.
A major plus feature of 2Investigate is that it overcomes the limitation of having to work on one file at a single computer or many files at many computers. Pupils are able to share the same file and dynamically update their desktop as they work.

FlexiTREE2
FlexiTREE 2 has been written to support the ICT Key Stage 2 QCA Unit 4C on Branching Databases. All of the features contained in the product are suitable for the delivery of this unit. The program includes enough content to cater for a range of capabilities and the teacher would easily be able to restrict or extend the work that the children undertook, according to their ability. The software enables the user to print their work in a variety of ways. One particularly good aspect of this is the card print, where the tree is printed as cards. These can be used by the children in the classroom to build a tree before using the program on the computer
