Welcome to Uphill Primary School.
I have been Head Teacher at Uphill Primary School since January 2008, and it has been a privilege! I am always very proud of the children at Uphill, they are polite, well behaved, confident, and always with a smile! I believe learning should be as fun as possible, so children develop a love for learning that will stay with them throughout their lives. Therefore we deliver a broad curriculum to meet the needs of all pupils, and provide a wide range of extra curricular activities.The School Leadership Team work closely with the staff and governors to ensure the best possible education for each individual child, where children are valued, and progress both academically and as individuals.

On 22nd June 2011, Ofsted came in to carry out an English subject inspection.We are delighted that the overall effectiveness of English has been judged as good which reflects the overall improvement from the last inspection in July 2010 across the school. Here are some of the comments made by the Ofsted Inspectors in July 2010 regarding the pupils:
"You enjoy your lessons, and impressed us by how hard you work. Your good attitudes and behaviour make a big difference to the progress you make."
" You told us you feel safe in school, something your parents also like. This is because the school takes good care of you and you get on well with everybody."
